# Setup Select

> Bind one installation the caller's own OAuth leg already proved.

Selection narrows an existing proof; it never creates one. The candidate
list was written by `setup/oauth-callback` under this exact (org, user)
session key, so an installation absent from it is refused even for an org
admin — otherwise this endpoint would be a way to claim any installation ID.
