Connect floo once, then ask in chat: “Build a tool where my team logs customer requests and I can see them by week.” Claude or ChatGPT creates the app on floo, writes the code, deploys it, and sends you a link your team signs in to.

Connect floo

The connector URL is https://api.getfloo.com/mcp. Connecting opens floo’s sign-in; approve it and the chat can act as you.

Ask for what you want

Describe the app and who uses it. The chat:
  1. Creates the app with create_project. floo hosts its code and deploys a starter with team sign-in and a Postgres database.
  2. Changes the code with read_file and write_files. Each change is one commit, and every commit deploys to your dev URL.
  3. Waits on the deploy with get_deploy and, if it fails, reads the error and logs, fixes the cause, and deploys again.
Ask for changes the same way: “Add a status column,” “Email me when a request is marked urgent.” Invite people with “Invite sam@example.com to the app.”

Ship to production

Your app runs at a dev URL until you ask for production. Say “Promote it to production.” The chat asks you before it runs promote_app.

What the chat can and cannot do

  • It changes apps whose code floo hosts. An app connected to your own GitHub repository changes through that repository, from a coding tool such as Claude Code.
  • One write_files call holds up to 100 files and 1 MB of text. Images and other binary files go in through git.
  • Every change is a normal commit, so rollbacks work as usual.
