Terms of Service
Last updated: April 11, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of floo ("we", "us", or "the Service"), operated by Patrick Donohoe ("floo") By using floo, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
floo is a deployment platform that builds, hosts, and manages web applications on your behalf. You provide source code via GitHub, and we build container images, deploy them to cloud infrastructure, and route traffic to them.
2. Your Account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of all source code, data, and content you deploy through floo. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to host, build, and serve your content as necessary to provide the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use floo to deploy applications that violate any applicable law, infringe on intellectual property rights, distribute malware, send spam, mine cryptocurrency, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or host content that is illegal, harmful, or abusive. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions. See our Acceptable Use Policy for details.
5. Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Charges are based on your selected plan and compute usage. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, floo's total liability is limited to the greater of $100 or the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or service interruptions.
8. Data and Backups
We maintain infrastructure-level backups of platform data. However, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of application data and source code. Your source code is always available in your GitHub repository.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. Upon termination, your deployed applications will be shut down and associated data will be deleted within 30 days.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or dashboard notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
